Plan on Attending Tonight's Music Review

This variety show displays the many talents of our Music Department students in the form of skits, musical performances, etc. Think "Smothers Bros." It will be held on TONIGHT Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and will be available through the Music Department and at the door.

Mandatory Disney Meeting March 16th, 5:30 p.m.

Students and one parent must attend. Sign-in sheets at door.

Has been moved up to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16th in the HS Auditorium.
Please have medical form notarized and turned in by this date.
Chaperones will have a special meeting immediately following the large group meeting in the choir room.
A Notary will be present for those who need have their papers made legal!

Friday, April 1 - 7:30 PM - Return from Florida

Wing Nite for Uniforms

Saturday, April 16 - from 7pm to 10pm - Harry's Steakhouse. Live Band, Food & Drinks Provided, Raffle, Side Boards, Basket Auction. Proceeds go toward purchase of new uniforms!

OMEA Wrapup

"On Saturday, February 19, 2011, the Independence High School Music Department sent 49 events made up of 104 students to the Ohio Music Education Association's High School Solo and Ensemble Adjudication held at Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus. The day-long event garnered honors for the IHS Music Department as 26 events earned a top "Superior" rating and 21 events earned an "Excellent" rating. No other schools the size of Independence took so many events to the competition. Congratulations to all participants!"
